About Us

At Broad Oaks Dog Retreat we offer a bespoke service for our four legged clients, tailored to their individual needs to ensure they have a stress free, fun and love filled holiday living in our home with us. Enjoying walks in the open Somerset countryside, The Quantock Hills and local beaches, also playing in our garden, or even cuddling up on the sofa to watch a movie. 

We know all too well the feeling of leaving our dogs when we go away, our pets are cherished members of our families and we want them to have the best care, love and cuddles whilst we are away, which is why we are so passionate about what we do in creating a 'home from home' where your dog will look forward to coming back to stay with us. 

Whether you want to leave your dog in our care just occasionally or entrust them to us for a longer stay, you can be confident that  they will be well looked after. They’ll get plenty of fresh air and exercise in excursions to the beautiful Somerset countryside. They’ll be well nourished, they’ll enjoy a warm and secure place to rest and relax with no bars or wire cages and they’ll receive a full daily programme of enrichment, love and attention.

Hello -  I'm Robyn, owner of Broad Oaks Dog Retreat. I have a true passion for our four legged friends having been brought up around dogs whilst also being given the gift of enjoying my own. I have previously lived and worked in California managing a non-profit animal rescue which involved rescuing dogs & cats from high kill shelters and the streets, then rehoming them in loving, forever homes. Albeit very sad at times, this has only fuelled my passion for animals and providing them with the best care and attention. I am also certified in Canine First Aid.
